“Ultimately this is a people business. You need to work with people across the spectrum. There’s the people in your team, because obviously this is a team based business.”
“You need to work with the management teams that are actually running the companies. And you need to interact upwards to your investment committee, convince people of why an investment opportunity is interesting, interact with your investors. So ultimately, ability to work with various different kinds of stakeholders and communicate effectively is quite important.”
