What comes after the deal is done? Sophie-Miyuki Delvallet, Investment Manager at Charterhouse, explains her career journey and why she chose private equity.
“What really convinced me that private equity was the right career for me at the time was that I was really attracted to the transactional aspect. But I felt like while in banking I didn’t really have exposure to anything that comes prior and also after the transaction, and I just wanted to do more of it. So as much as I loved working on deals, I wanted to then participate in the deal, understand why we do deals, and then most importantly then accompany the management teams in doing their plan and help them achieve their ambitions.”
